Roaming
How do I make a call while I am roaming?
It's simple. Turn the phone on, dial the number and press SEND.
If you are calling a local number in the city you are in, dial the 10-digit number you are calling. If you are calling a long distance number, including calls back to your home area, dial a "1" before the 10-digit number.
In some areas (such as areas in which we do not have roaming agreements), you may be asked for a credit card or calling card in order to make a call. If this happens, simply follow the voice directions you are given in order to complete the call.
Wireless Connectivity
What is Bluetooth?
Wireless control of and communication between a mobile phone and a hands-free headset. Bluetooth devices use a radio communications system, they do not have to be in line of sight of each other. Ask if your phone is bluetooth capable.
Other Questions
What do I do if my phone says locked?
Unlock code is by default the last 4 digits of your phone number.
How do I qualify for an upgraded phone?
You qualify for the best upgrade price based on the time since your last upgrade and rate plan qualification:
12 months if you are on a one-year service agreement, or 24 months if you are on a two-year service agreement.
A qualified rate plan is $19.95 or greater with a single line, or $69.99 or greater on a shared family plan. You must sign a new two-year service or one-year service agreement each time you upgrade. Of course, if you do not want to sign a new service agreement, you can always purchase a new phone at full price.
