Inland Cellular Raises Funds for Haiti
Inland Cellular partners with local community members to provide “Hope for Haiti”
LEWISTON, Idaho. (January 27, 2010) --Amidst the tales of sadness emerging from Haiti after the
earthquakes, there are also stories of support and solidarity quickly emerging from around the world.
According to reports, as many as three million people may have been severly impacted by the quake, which
collapsed many government buildings and caused major damage to many hospitals in the region. While the
timeline to restore basic levels of service and shelter for many still remains undefined, the global community
has united in unwaivering support of the nation.
Inland Cellular is proud to have been able to support the citizens of Haiti the efforts of the American Red
Cross’ humanitarian missions on the island. Over the course of last week fundraisers were held at Inland‘s
wireless showrooms in Lewiston and Moscow, Idaho as well as Moses Lake, Washington. With the support
of our customers and a matching donation from Inland Cellular $1,534.00 was raised.
“While Inland Cellular has always been a strong supporter of the communities we serve in the Inland
Northwest, our hearts immediately went out to the people of Haiti in this time of need,” said Denise Smith,
Director of Marketing with Inland Celluar. “e support we were able to give to Haiti was in the spirit of
corporate citizenship that Inland prides itself on. We would encourage our customers and community members
to continue their support of the nation as they continue to recover and rebuild.”
